Hi bleearg13,
The behavior you describe is by design. Starting with NCM 7.3, NCM additional pollers behave consistently with the rest of Orion modules -- each poller manages the nodes that are assign to it. You can no longer use NCM main poller to manage all NCM nodes. Which leads us to one of the possible explanations of the problem with the missing nodes -- do you have NCM additional poller package installed on your additional pollers? If not, then you won't see their nodes in NCM Web UI.
Regarding separate emails from the pollers -- this is a known issue that is on our list. Unfortunately, it cannot be fixed easily, but a substantial architectural change is required. The problem with keeping the "DeviceTypes" is also known and planned to be addressed -- plans should be published soon. The "ConfigArchive" directory can be placed on a shared network drive -- this feature became available in NCM 7.3.1. (You may also disable Config archive completely and export the configs from the DB on a scheduled basis.)
I would like to discuss your concerns about the Web UI in details -- will contact you offline.
Regards,
Jiri
