1. Before Orion our store support reps had to count 1000's of MSMQ transactions manually. Keeping up with these transactions began to be a full-time job.
2. Server & Application Monitor solved this problem for us.
3. We tried Opnet AppSenor Expert and VNE Server but they could not provide the WMI dashboards and alerting we wanted. We decided to go with SAM because we were already using NPM and it didn't take a big effort to bring in SAM.
4. Instead of waiting for MSMQ transactions to build into the 1000's our store support is now able to view dashboards and receive alerts for new transactions.
