I'm looking at a top conversations report and I'm seeing conversations between devices that have never been "discovered" by Solarwinds. When a device has not been discovered, how does Solarwinds do name resolution? I'm assuming it's doing some DNS lookup. If it is a DNS lookup, what exactly does Solarwinds use as it's DNS server? Is it the DNS server assigned to the NIC of the Solarwinds server or is it an entry somewhere "within" Solarwinds itself that says "use this DNS server for Solarwinds name resolution"? Or is it something else completely?
