weird, what version are you using? Do you have SAM, or just NPM? (I think you need SAM to do this).

I have actually been doing a lot of reading about netflow with cisco 3750X 48PF-S. my current version is 12.2(58)SE 1. I talked so cisco about this for 30mins. Netflow is not supported on the C3KX-NM-10G you would need the C3KX-NM-10G expansion module. This is the tricky thing though even though the netflow is not support the same config will work on version 12, but you will not get the desired results and sometime not get any results at all. you need to upgrade to ios version 15.0 1 SE and you will get the desired results that you are looking for.

Share Calendar with Sharepoint
I am working with a customer that has recently installed Orion and Alert Central. They would like to import a sharepoint calendar into the alert central calendar. Has anyone tried and succeeded this?

I talked to a Cisco tech as well. They told me that with the module installed, an IOS update would need to be done as a different version is needed that supports the module and netflow. So you are using the Module and getting netflow data into NTA?

Do you know where it pulls the initial info from though? These are brand new installs but for whatever reason the .conf file is populating with the old ip. Like you mentioned I have been able to stop the service, edit the .conf file, delete the spop folder, and restart services and all is good. But I would rather not have to do that on 20 machines. I'm just wondering why its populating with the old information in the first place.

Re: Trap forwarding
To troubleshoot the issue further have you tried trapping to the Orion server itself? Orion includes a Trap Receiver/Server so I would suggest sending the trap to the Orion server itself (use 127.0.0.1 or the IP address of the Orion server) and see if the trap is properly decoded there.

Group creation with Generic Application members problem
Evening all
OK, took a little fiddling.
-Did anyone else struggle with the remote database on install?-
But that aside, I'm up and running with SAM 6.0.0 beta and very nice it is to. 
Insight for SQL server, very nice.
Though it is in some need of filtering what gets monitored when assigning - our test DB ate 1017 monitors.
But I have an issue, created a couple of monitors to test our internal CRM system, check the login page and the MySQL DB. So create a group called CRM and try to add these two monitors and:

Parameter name: uri
Log file attached.
Other groups based on custom properties or node names - no hay problemas.
Any ideas?

IPAM Events - What interactions are there?
We purchased IPAM last week and I installed IPAM 4.0 yesterday. Today I was looking around in it while skimming the admin guide when I decided to clear some of the obvious events to reduce the clutter on the main IPAM page.
After some digging and some reading, it appeared to me that the IPAM events are separate from the other events in Orion. While that was a bit unexpected, I was not too concerned until I could not find any way to "clear" alerts like I can in the main Orion events section. Is there a way to “clear” the events from IPAM?
Along the same lines, the “Last XX IPAM Events” resource appears to not support filters. So am I right to assume that the way to get a filtered list would be to create a custom report/SQL and add it as a resource?
Am I just behind on my IPAM learning curve, or are the IPAM events truly isolated and untouchable?

If you have not already done so you can setup a custom poller to monitor pools and nodes and alert on them. just not a built in alert yet.

Did not receive command prompt after connecting via SSH
I am running CatTools 3.9 and am trying to backup the config from a Brocade switch. When I run the Device.Backup.Running.Config script I receive the error "Did not Receive command prompt after connecting via SSH"
I have searched the forums and the CatTools pdf but have been unable to locate an answer for this problem.

The ability to undelete nodes or interfaces so you dont lose stats. it is very easy to delete a node or many nodes and poof there goes a lot of good information. without restoring a database that is.

CISCO-FIREWALL-MIB
I'm looking to see if within Solarwinds I have to install the CISCO-FIREWALL-MIB? I cannot find where this MIB is.
After spending a couple days trying to work out Advanced Alerts with different OID numbers I come here asking for help.
Here is the example of the Alert:
OID is equal to 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.147.1.2.1.1.1.3
Numeric Status is not equal to 9
Node Name is equal to *
The OID number along with the Numeric Status was found here: http://thwack.solarwinds.com/thread/14604
The Node name is the specific firewall that we are testing with.
Any help would be great so thank you in advance.

Enhancement request
Would be nice to see the ability to group edit a number of occurrences at once. Basically if a set call rotation is setup for an entire year (with recurrences), and one person goes on PTO for a week, would be nice to quickly bulk edit that weeks occurrences and change the user.

We have this set up for UserModifyAttribute. The rule specifically says monitor change attempts to a MSSQL database. I will be attempting this in the next few weeks. Did you ever get this set up?

What command can I use inorder to generate Emergency, Alert, Critical, Error, Warning messages. Any suggestions ???
I was able to send syslog messages from the Cisco 877 and the Dell PowerConnect 3524 to a Kiwi Syslog Daemon 8.3.2 . I executed several commands in the router and switch, so the syslog sever could receive syslog messages .The sylog server groups the messages as :Emergency, Alert, Critical, Error, Warning, Informational, Notice and Debug .I was able to generate notice and informational messages. With a reload of the router,When commands are executed in the Global Configuration mode and When saving the configuration file the switch give a informational and notice message
