What type of report was it you used as a templete?
Previously I had an issue where there was a mystery check box on the first tab which caused the error.
'Group historical data by days' caused the report to fail on the Web UI, however in Report Writer the Preview and Execute SQL Query would work fine.

I have this issue where the y axis on a bandwidth chart keeps scaling inconsistently. I would like to be able to have a fixed scale such as 0, 1, 2, 3, etc. Mbps instead of 0 bps, 488 kbps, 977 kbps, 1 Mbps, 2 Mbps, 2 Mbps. It has 3 units of speeds in one scale!
Another thing I noticed that was really odd is that 2 Mbps came up twice for one of the charts. I tried regenerating the charts and refreshing the page and the repeated 2Mbps doesn't go away. But thankfully, this repeating 2 Mbps issue is only happening for one of the nodes.
I've seen the following threads that had similar issues but unfortunately, none of them provided answers to my issue.

You may want to see if the Comtek agent covers this. There is a sample template here
but you can use NPM or SAM to build these custom pollers.
I noticed you mention Syslog specifically. Do you already have an AS400 agent like Townsend or Powertech that is converting AS400 messages to Syslog? If so, you can create rules on the Syslog Viewer utility on the SAM server

For switches, we know there is a topology detail to show how they are connecting to each others but there is no any detail for server.

Can we restore backup file of SQL server 2005 installed on windows server 2003 to SQL server 2005 installed on windows server 2008 R2. Are they compatible? Will there be any issue? Thanks in Anticipation.

I have setup a series of maps in topology mapper and seem to be working fine.
Now I would like other administrators to view the maps using their logins. Today in testing with another administrator when they try to open my maps they get the following error:
'Can't access the map file'
Your user account doesn't have the appropriate read/write access permissions
Adjust your account's read/write access permissions as needed or contact your system administrator.
The admin doing trying to open the map has the same rights to the server which Topology mapper runs from (Win2k8r2) as I do.
Or is there some other way admins are sharing maps?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to design the trap variables yourself. This would have to be addressed in the product.
Thanks Lawrence for the quick response. I have installed patch manager in our environment but we don't have access to WSUS server by any means (administrative logon). Presently patches on the virtual server are pushed via WSUS...Also we dont have connectivity to the internet..I am looking to use Solarwinds Patch Manager to automate windows patch installation.
we have only one requirement/expectation from Solarwinds Patch manager which is Automate Windows Patch installation (like scheduling and action after patch installation.)
